2-1-1WNY Now Offers Texting for 2-1-1 & Opioid Text Program

How does texting 2-1-1 work?

People can text their zip code to 898211 or Txt211. This will initiate the 2 way communication between the texter and the 2-1-1 staff member. Texting is available  Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.  

What if it’s outside of texting hours?

The texter will receive an automated response letting them know that texting is only available during certain hours and encouraging them to call 2-1-1.

Who is texting for?

Just like 2-1-1, texting for 2-1-1 is for everyone!

Anytime you need help finding help, whether for yourself or a client, call or text 2-1-1. Please share with your friends, family and clients. 2-1-1 and texting for 2-1-1 is available in both WNY, the Finger Lakes Region, and NW Pennsylvania.
