Our Team

Meredith Surdel has over 16 years of experience counseling adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. She has an extensive history in working with grief and loss, families impacted by incarceration, and crisis management.

Stephanie is a graduate from Canisius College and has her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Stephanie has experience working with adolescents, couples/families and adults.   Stephanie has a passion and experience for working with individuals seeking support around anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and gender related issues.

Madeline is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and has her Master’s in Social Work. She is passionate about helping clients improve their lives with skill building to accomplish their goals. Madeline has knowledge and experience working with adults and adolescents seeking support around anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, developmental disabilities and working with LGBTQIA issues.

Lindsay Mead uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to provide support to adults, adolescents, families, and couples.

Nicole has a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University. 

Dr. Rob Erickson is the proud father of four and husband to Dr. Jen, his practice partner for twenty plus years. Rob values our patients’ success in achieving mind, body and spiritual well-being. His entrepreneurial spirit resonates through our health and wellness practices as he seeks out and applies care options all too often passed over. To keep up with Rob’s all-encompassing determination to provide total care to our patients, we keep looking ahead - and very alert.

Dr. Jen Erickson is a bouncy, enthusiastic mother of four. Married to her practice partner for 28 years, Dr. Jen joyously participates in the delivery of Total Care, encompassing mind-body-spirit well-being.

Valerie is a new mother who thoroughly enjoys participating in sports; skiing in the winter, boating in the summer and everything outdoors. Val’s interest in art and science guides her pathway in solving her patient’s problems. She deeply cares about the people she helps and loves to be clinically involved with them.

Darren grew up in the southern tier enjoying everything to do with the outdoors such as hiking, hunting, and camping. Darren went to Daemen College and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in science and a Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies. He has worked with Inspired Health Group since 2012 and prior to that in the emergency room.

Nathan Schmidt is a Licensed Practical Nurse who has worked in the nursing field for three years.  Nathan has a passion and experience working with patients who are experiencing substance use, depression, and anxiety. 

Shari Kay is the ebullient, happy head of the Inspired nursing team. Shari has strong faith and love of family matched by a joy in traditions. Shari knew she would be a nurse from a tender age.
